January 12, 2003. Old Russian New Year’s Celebration. This highlight event held at Yacht Club, with 265 in attendance.
January Visit of two Russian Students from Moscow. Kate and Dasha visited 13 schools and talked to about 3,000 students.
February 15, 2003. Opening of Exhibit at the Museum of History. “St.Petersburg – Санкт Петербург: Namesake Cities.
February 27, 2003. Tampa Bay Symphony Celebrates 300/100. Russian and American music and ballet performances.
March 2, 3, & 4. Symposium: “The Two St. Petersburgs.” Presentations comparing the histories of these two cities.
March 19-23. SPIFFS Salutes the Two St. Petersburgs.
April 13, 2003. Competition in St. Petersburg, Russia for Best High School Students of English. The top two students will come to Florida in September of 2003.
April 15, 2003. Poetry Contest and Poetry Reading at St. Petersburg
Public Library.
May 18, 2003. Annual Meeting at Ming Garden Restaurant.
July 21, 2003. Symposium: “The Two St. Petersburgs.” A shorter version of the March symposium presented in St. Petersburg, Russia.
September 5-23, 2003. Visit of International Student Ambassadors. Polina and Dina, the prize winners from the April contest in St. Petersburg, Russia made presentations in Pinellas County schools and colleges and at the Russian Heritage meeting on September 7.
October 8, 2003. Presentation on learning Russian & Russian children’s books.

November 14 & November 21, 2003. Report on Summer Delegations to Russia during the 300/100 anniversary year.
