Bill Parsons

Professor of History and Russian Studies (Emeritus), Eckerd College. Bill taught courses in Russian History, World History, and Russian Studies at Eckerd College for more 40 years, before retiring in 2006. Two of his favorite courses were “Russian Cultural History” and “The History of the Two St. Petersburgs”. He has led student groups to Russia and the Soviet Union 8 times, and spent the academic year 1981-82 at Leningrad State University.
