APRIL RH EVENTS: Easter Eggs, International Ball, Picnic
Sunday, April 10 at 3pm. Demonstration of Russian Easter Eggs and Learning How to Make Them
Program by Mary Stenov at St. Matthew’s Episcopal Church (738 Pinellas Point Drive South) in St. Petersburg. Come to learn more about this important Russian Easter tradition.
Friday, April 15. SPIFFS International Ball at the German American Club (8098 66th St. North) in Pinellas Park. Come to honor our Russian Heritage Persons of the Year, Zhanna and Konstantin Sidorenko. Program includes a delicious buffet dinner of roast pork and chicken marinara, live music for dancing, raffles and auctions, in addition to the awards ceremony. Tickets are $35 for adults, $15 for youth (21 and under). Doors open at 6:30pm. To make reservations, please call 727-867-9148 by April 11.
Saturday, April 30. Russian Heritage Picnic and Annual Meeting at St. Matthew’s Episcopal Church (738 Pinellas Point Drive South). Plan to come around noon, with special foods served beginning at 1pm. Entertainment, games, and other activities planned for the afternoon. Adults $15, students $10. More details to follow shortly.
